Exhibitions of Women’s Handicrafts & Human Rights Art in Norway

About the Initiative

This initiative focused on showcasing and supporting the work of Afghan women through public exhibitions in Norway, creating a platform for both economic empowerment and awareness-raising.

The exhibitions highlighted handmade products as well as artistic expressions reflecting social realities and human rights issues.

Activities

A total of six exhibitions were organized in Norway, featuring:

  • Handmade handicrafts produced by women
  • Artworks and paintings
  • Meaningful drawings illustrating human rights violations
  • Photography exhibitions

The events combined art, storytelling, and advocacy, creating space for dialogue with the public.
