Dialogue Hub – Documentary and Storytelling Work:
Since 2021, Dialogue Hub has developed a growing body of documentary and storytelling work focused on human & Minority rights, women’s lived experiences, and social realities inside Afghanistan.
To date, Dialogue Hub has produced four documentary films:
- A documentary on the situation of female doctors, nurses, and midwives, highlighting their professional challenges and restrictions. This film was screened at the Oslo conference on 7 March, held in connection with International Women’s Day.
- A documentary capturing the reactions and perspectives of women inside Afghanistan regarding the Women’s People’s Tribunal on Afghanistan. The screening date will be announced soon.
- A documentary on girls’ access to education, focusing on students who have been excluded from schools and universities. This film is planned for release in June, aligned with the upcoming Human Rights Council session.
- A documentary on extremism, with further details and screening information to be announced shortly.
In addition to documentary production, Dialogue Hub has developed a strong storytelling initiative. To date, 58 stories of women, girls, and young people have been collected through structured interviews. A number of these stories have already been published, while others are scheduled for release in the coming period.
Through these initiatives, Dialogue Hub continues to document lived experiences, amplify underrepresented voices, and contribute to evidence-based advocacy on human rights and social change in Afghanistan.
